XCET: Threshold Cerenkov counters

Threshold Cerenkov counters are available in some of the beamlines to obtaine particle identification data for individual particles in that beamline. A readout system through the EA computers is available for setting up the counter properly, in particular to adjust the gas pressure (under user control) and to adjust the high-tension of the photomultiplier (beam instrumentation experts). The signal is also sent directly (i.e. unshaped) to the user for readout through his own data acquisition system.
